Devine Intervention? Cross & Bible Stop a Bullet From Killing Him

A Father gave his son a bible and cross and told his son to keep it close as he goes into the war as it will save his life as it did the fathers. This son, an Armenian Living In Russia, came back to fight in Artsakh to "Defend His Homeland" against Azerbaijan and Turkey. During a battle, a bullet meant for his heart hit the bible & cross causing it to ricochet hitting his shoulder instead of his heart. He will make a full recovery. Was this divine Intervention?
