"Snake Venoms work in two ways. Viperidae and Elapidae. Elapids - Cobras, Mambas, Kraits and Taipans venom is neuro toxic and interferes with the transmission of nerve impulses having an immobilising effect making the victims body either rigid or become limp. Vipers: Vipers, Adders, and Rattlesnakes have venoms that attack the circulatory system which cause bleeding or interfere with the blood's ability to clot. The venom is delivered into the prey through hypodermic - like fangs in the serpent's mouth.
