In verse 9, we see where they rank before the world:
• Demeaned to last place (v. 9a)
• Sentenced to death row (v. 9b)
• Paraded as a public spectacle (v. 9c)
In verse 10, we see how they’re viewed in the church:
• The Foolish and the Wise (v. 10a)
• The Weak and the Strong (v. 10b)
• The Honorable and the Shameful (v. 10c)
In verses 11-12a, we see where they are in trials:
• Deficient in Basic Necessities (v. 11)
• Disgraced in Personal Labor (v. 12a)
In verses 12b-13, we see how they respond to their trials:
• Reviled (v. 12b)
• Persecuted (v. 12c)
• Slandered (v. 13a)
• Scum (v. 13b)
