The next-gen update of Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 will now require DirectX12 and Windows 10/11, and the old versions will no longer be available for download. This is unfortunate for people who have bought the game and played the game for years, only for the same game to be made unplayable. I hope the old version can be left as an optional download for those who want to play the game how it was.
