Pecan Pie Living It's Best Life

You will never go back to traditional pecan pie after this. I make it every Thanksgiving. It's everything traditional pecan pie wants to be; crunchy, gooey, crumbly, topped with ice cream, and most importantly loaded with pecans. I hate when you get a pecan pie and its mostly that gooey egg mixture. Technically it's a tart but this is loaded with pecans and flavor!
Chef Note: The maple syrup isn't just flavoring if you don't have any, replace with another liquid sugar like honey or corn syrup if you have to.
