So I was trying to find out if indeed Jan Lewandowski used the UK airport at Gatwick or Manchester for the return flight, or if his departure from the Ocean Club would have been in a country other than UK .
As it turns out, according to the Aviation Data Unit from April 2007, all flights by Thomas Cook UK to Faro airport PORTUGAL originated from the UK and would have been return flights to UK, from Faro, and no other country. The data is taken from the Civil Aviation Authority database which is in fact a collection of all the flight logs in and out of British air.
Couldn’t have been any other country apart from the UK because the Thomas COOK UK airline , as stated in the guest check in list at the Ocean Club, operates only flights to and from the UK.
