Knights of Pen & Paper +1 Edition #32 - Gee Jock, The DM Let's You Have Two Rings?

It's to prove that the DM isn't targeting him in battle. Still, having a player nearly get wiped out so soon in any sufficiently difficult battle whenever he doesn't shield up is highly suspect. It's just a coincidence that our DM is a scientist and the player getting targeted is a jock. Right?
