We have quail again!! Beautiful bobwhite quail singing!

After not seeing or hearing any bobwhite quail for the last 2 years I thought that they were all gone! (Quail are rapidly disappearing down here in far Southern Illinois due to habitat loss). But today I Heard some fantastic news! In the last 2 years we have added roughly 15 acres of new quail cover in the form of warm season native grasses and natural regeneration of previous farm fields. So this was very exciting to hear!
