The Sun Sentinels offers impressive vantage points of the surrounding area, as it is situated atop a large mesa in between the canyon walls. 2-3 cazadores or other Zion creatures populate the area at and around the top. Like the rest of Zion Canyon, banana yucca fruit, xander root, and other flora can easily be found in the area. There is a hollowed-out rock south of the map marker, at the edge of a cliff. The Sun Sentinels can be climbed via the northwestern slope.
