YouTube Down?! FIVE Alternative video sites for creators and consumers.

YouTube recently experienced a worldwide outage. It did not last very long, but many content consumers found themselves unable to watch their favorite video channels.

There are other alternative video platforms that host interesting content, and these are worth a visit whether YouTube is working or not. Content creators should consider posting cross-platform in order to promote their channel brand.

This is NOT a comprehensive list. For example, I did not discuss Vimeo or Dailymotion. Vimeo is primarily for commercial use and is very limited for free video uploads. With Dailymotion, I ran into some difficulties while setting up an account. The following are quick and easy for setting up an account and offer good search and browse features for video consumers.
