CLEAN and FIX your Gas Fireplace! | Warm up in front of a cozy and safe FIRE! | 2020/35

Your Gas Fireplace is the the center of your room and it is that time of the year, the leaves are falling, and the temperatures are dropping. What a better way to spend the autumn and winter months then in front of a cozy fireplace. We have a gas insert fireplace in our home, and it needs a little maintenance before we start using it for the next several months.

The paint has flaked off in some spots, the glass is dirty on the inside and out, and its just a little dirty. Also, before using a gas appliance, you should always give it a good inspection to make sure it is not a fire danger, or could cause damage to your home, or something worse!

I followed the gas fireplace manufacturer’s suggestions from the owner’s manual to the letter. If you are uncomfortable doing this time of maintenance, please hire a licensed professional!

I repainted the areas that needed it, cleaned the glass inside, and out, vacuumed away the old dust and dirt that has accumulated since last year and checked all the gas components. It is good and new and ready for another season!
