Post Election Thoughts: They Want to Divide Us Into Tribes

James breaks down the one of the biggest issues in facing America, no matter whether Trump or Biden President in 2020--tribalism and hyper-partisanship.

Partisan journalism has made it easier and easier to remain in a comfortable echo chamber, where ideas we agree with are reinforced, and ideas we disagree with are either denigrated or absent altogether. And social media has also made our bubbles even more insular.

If we remain within the comforts of tribalism and continue to fall the for traps that the political elites and the mainstream media have laid for us, arguing about how Democrats are going to turn America into a socialist state, or about how Republican’s are supporting white supremacists, then we are going to be way too busy dealing with these squabbles to notice all the corruption that is happening in plain view.
