BC family to spend 14 months flying around the world

A B.C. family is ready to make lasting memories while also helping a charity in the process, flying around the world over the next 14 months.

With 70,000 kilometres expected to be flown and 50 countries visited, they'll be visiting villages and towns as they work to raise $1 million for SOS Children's Villages, which helps to provide homes for vulnerable homes and also humanitarian assistance in places like Ukraine.

As Jay Durant explains, the stories they will gain from the experience may give them a far different family vacation than the usual summer.
