03 Liberation from self righteousness

Reflections on the human propensity to deny our sin, make excuses, point the finger, pass the buck, exaggerate our virtues, downplay our vices, put our own rules in the place of God's, and twist his Law to suit ourselves, all in an attempt to justify ourselves and convince ourselves that we are good people. The goal of these reflections is to direct attention to Christ, who actually makes us righteous and holy as a gift, and in this way liberates us from the need to justify ourselfes.
