Barn Swallows Will Work For Food

Legitimately AND through total cuteness.
They weren't ready to fledge, but their nest fell off.
Either my cats were going to kill them or any of the other, beautiful, predators that range, here, throughout the days and nights.
After trying to prop their nest back up, the parents would not feed them there for 2 days...so I had to intervene.
NOT the desired outcome, but I've been there, done that.
In 99.9% of such situations, we should leave "abandoned" wildlife alone, but in those rare of rare circumstances when they DO need help, be sure to contact your local wildlife rescue center.
I've worked with/for wildlife rescue agencies and, in my neighborhood - I'm the "go to" guy for TRULY displaced wildlife....as in TRULY DISPLACED.
