Authenticity pt 3 - Expertise and Debate

If you want to actually engage in debate, stand your ground and win you obviously need to be expertly in the topic at hand. Or at least have a sound philosophy and style of articulation that will allow you to hear a presentation and DISCERN if it is coherent with your values or not.

Discernment is extremely underrated. I think it's one of the most important skills to develop as a spiritual person.

Also important to note is, are you sticking to the topics at hand or are you trying to skate around it and avoid certain aspects. This is a clear sign of weakness and incompetence. Are you a devil's advocate just for the sake of being a nuisance or do you actually have value to add to the conversation?
