2. Having good sleep equipment is important, especially for your mental health. Having a warm sleeping bag is important in a good nights sleep.

3. If you have time to plan, you have time to experiment before that day comes when you're evicted or foreclosed on. Take a week or weekend and live in extreme conditions like homeless people to see how practical your gear really is in an urban environment. You still have the sanity of four walls, so taking advantage of the situation early could improve your odds of survival later on.

4. Planning long term is important. When the economic collapse hits in 2022 or 2023 like experts predict, it may be more than a decade before the economy recovers. Whatever plans you put into place must also be thought of as a possible long term or life long way of life.

5. Relocating may be imperative to your survival during SHTF. If you have to be exposed to weather all the time, which climate would you prefer? Some places may be under water within the next 100 years due to climate change, is your area going to be affected? These and many other factors should be considered when planning for SHTF or an economic collapse of the magnitude we're about to see as the Great Dispossession looms in the horizon.
