Starting Over: From Darkness to Sunshine

I made this video the end of January 2022, when I arrived to my new home state. As I watch it again, the painful memories come flooding back. I lost so much in the last year...

The only career that I've ever known, and worked so hard for
My home
Family
Friends
My belongings that I couldn't take with me

BUT...

I gained so much too...
God brought Rocky into my life, and I don't know how I would have made it without him. I swore I'd never love another animal again because the heartbreak is too great, but God, and my friends Courtney and Jack had other plans.
I'm in a climate that is friendlier to my Raynaud's disease.
The sun is shining, and I've had sand between my toes more in the past few months, than I've had in the past 5 years.

I'm still without work, and trying to reinvent myself.
God has shown me that He will not let Rocky and I down.
He has brought some good people into my life.
It has been difficult financially, but God has provided.
I'm still so heartbroken, but grateful.
