Healthcare Debate: American Healthcare is Broken—Universal Healthcare Doesn't Work
In this healthcare debate, I agree with @Suris that American healthcare is broken, it is indeniable, but what Suris doesn't comprehend is the fact universal healthcare doesn't work. The only reason certain European countries other than Britain are getting away with it to some extent is that they do not have full-fledged socialist systems in healthcare.
The British NHS is a prime example of history of how diabolical universal healthcare is and why universal healthcare doesn't work. As I've stated, the American healthcare is broken, but that is in reference to the main American healthcare system that has been corrupted by all the socialist government interventionism.
It is important you check out my videos that explain on American healthcare costs and about the free market solution.

Much like many other critiques of capitalism, Suris fails to realise that the main American healthcare market isn't capitalist, but corporatist and you will learn a lot from those two videos alone. It is for that reason his argument caves in because the basis of his entire argument stems from American healthcare costs being so expensive, which is why it is neglectful.
He also addresses on rights, again, this is something socialists don't seem to understand. Taxpayers are "FORCED" to pay out tax to pay for others, no one is ENTITLED to the earnings of another individual, therefore, no one has a "RIGHT" to what other people work for. Doctors, nurses, even teachers do NOT have a duty to serve you, they are NOT your slaves.
Just because we state that healthcare, education, food, housing and clothing are not rights, doesn't mean to say that we believe it should only be affordable for the rich, in fact, contrary to that popular belief, we actually support the free market because it is far cheaper, even over that of the "FREE" public services.
It is important to note that in a free market in the absence of government taxation you would pay for the fire service, even healthcare because you want protection in case if anything does happen, you wouldn't pay for a service later down the line when it's already too late and if you leave it too late where you're bleeding, that's your own fault, you have your own responsibility for your own actions. You have to love how people think it's evil for saying that people have a responsibility for what they do with their own life, like it should be my fault if someone becomes an alcoholic.
At the end of the day, we're not saying people should not be cared for or that healthcare should not be affordable to the masses, but instead, providing a service through voluntary contribution, not through government theft and violence whereby stripping individuals of their rights and liberty. As I explained, the difference between NEGATIVE and POSITIVE rights is clear and one represents the individual with EQUAL rights, the other does not.
