Islam, Chinese Whispers & questionable Ahadith "science"

Join me and Thaddeus of Reasoned answers apologetics as we unravel the story of the ahadith on our recent live stream. -- Hadith carry the force of Law in Islam. They are part of what the Ulema call the "Proofs of Islam", due to the absolutely authoritative nature of some hadith. We will learn how hadith are evaluated and are considered the irrefutable evidence, indisputably true, of the prophet-hood of Mohammed.
Few know that Hadith can abrogate Hadith, and that Hadith can abrogate verses in the Quran. Hadith form part of the backbone of Sharia Law and fiqh. And what is the meaning of "mutawatir"? Hint: The Bible is NOT considered mutawatir.

As you know, Muslims LOVE to claim the Bible is corrupted, but they fail to explain what they mean by corruption. They mean it doesn't have a chain of narration like hadith. The Gospels were written down right from the start, making significant changes difficult. Meanwhile, the ahadith were not recorded for more than 200 years, meaning Muslims were playing a game of broken telephone/hearsay/He Said, She Said/Chinese Whispers for 200 years. That is, if we assume they didn't simply make up chains of narration after the fact, something that would be just as easy to do as making up a story to begin with.
