The Fearful Famine - Joel 1:2, 4-7, 9-20

The famine described in Joel is one of the most terrible events ever described in the Bible. Millions of insects descended on Israel and destroyed all the crops. Cattle grew hungry and died. Scores of people were left with nothing to eat.

The land of milk and honey was now a land of thirst and hunger.
