Bow hunting whitetail deer New Jersey 10-3-2020

I watched a doe and fawn made their way to my bait pile. Just as I was about to draw my bow on the doe a coyote spooks them away. I shot the coyote.
I tracked it and found my arrow, but the blood trail run cold.
Judging by the footage, I think I hit it in the mouth. If it didn't die it's going to starve to death.
