Celebrities Are Not Better Than You!

The worship of celebrities is a weakness, period. All of our day-to-day lives are infinitely harder than anything they do. They are paid to get in shape and are coddled on another level. Because you are jealous of their lives is exactly why you should ignore them. Adulation of celebrities is the adulation of a fake world and person. These are unserious people who think little of you because they won the lottery; they received Willy Wonka's golden ticket. And they believe that makes them better than you.

It certainly does not.

There are a few good celebrities, but most are contemptible, and worshiping a celebrity is fools gold and says something about yourself. Find a mentor to follow. Someone who actually cares about you and what you are doing. Someone who is where you want to be or has done the things you want to do. Faith in yourself is the key to the kind of success you crave but see in others. Celebrities are false gods in that respect, channel their worship back into yourself.
