Both President Ulysses S. Grant and General Douglas MacArthur exemplify something I find beautiful about the United States of America. Something that gives me hope and hardens me to work beyond my limits. These heroes of American history show us that you can screw everything up in life. You can get forced from the military for drinking and fail in multiple business endeavors, yet through hard work, willpower, and a burning desire, even the biggest screw ups can rise to save our country and restore the union and even become President of the United States!
