Roe v. Wade overturned: Could Canada limit abortion access?

As Canadians watched the news unfold south of the border about the overturning of Roe v. Wade, many are wondering if the same thing could happen in Canada with abortion access.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promises that isn’t going to happen.

“The news coming out of the United States is horrific. My heart goes out to the millions of American women who are now set to lose their legal right to an abortion. I can’t imagine the fear and anger you are feeling right now,” Trudeau tweeted.

But as Abigail Bimman reports, there are fears that abortion access here could become limited if an influx of Americans seeks care at Canadian clinics.
