Review and continuation of the discussion about what it means to be under the law. There is the law of sin and death--which we don't want to be under, but there is also the law of blessing and life--made possible by Messiah Yeshua.
He didn't do away with the importance of the Torah in the life of the believer. He didn't abolish it or nullify it as some interpret Matthew 5:17-18. The Sermon on the Mount is mostly commentary on the Torah. If you believe the Sermon on the Mount is for the believer, then the Torah must be for you as well.
