Because of the Backlash Pelosi’s Husband Has Been Recharged with DUI, Slap on the Wrist Incoming

They originally thought that they could just drop the charges against Paul Pelosi for DUI and make his plowing into another moving vehicle while drunk as a skunk just go away. The problem is, the backlash was far too great for that to happen. So much so, the only option they had was to reinstate the charges. Which of course we all know just means he’ll only get a slap on the wrist in the end, especially when they’ve chosen to prosecute him on a misdemeanor charge instead of a felony which is what pretty much everyone else would be charged with.
