Muhammad, Counterfeit Jesus - pt2

Mohammed is Islam's Counterfeit Jesus. Early Muslims faced a dilemma - very little was known about the supposed prophet of Islam. The Quran seemed to indicate he was just a messenger who couldn't work miracles, but that when they talked to Christians this figure proved weak and embarrassing compared to Jesus. So, what did they do? They took stories about Jesus, modified them slightly, and pretended they were about Muhammad. Today, orthodox Islam considers this obvious borrowing (which contradicts the Quran) to be part of the authentic sacred tradition. This is just one several examples of how the sira clearly and unambiguously deify Muhammad.
