Roper Whitney No. 2 Metal Punch - This Thing Is Awesome

Awesome little tool a lot of folks don’t even know exist... I used it lately to cut a slot out of a piece of steel. I needed to make a lock and latch and I need to cut out the slot for the hoop where the lock goes on. Well I just put the latch in the Roper and pop, pop, pop had a nice slot cut out.

Its a lot easier than drilling 12 holes, and then having to file like crazy. I got it cheap and used. I think this one was made in the 60's because it says Whitney Metal Tool I think, and that was before they were called Roper Whitney.
