The Great Divide in Genesis between God & man, reaffirms the absolute otherness of God. We are not going to get to know God through: simple imitation, keeping of rules, intellectual study, or good works. He wants for us to know His heart, and that He knows ours. The only way to bridge the gap, this divide, is through the brokenness of the cross and faith in what He has done.
