Port Perry is a community within Scugog in Ontario with a population of 9,453.
Lake Scucog is one of Ontario's largest man-made lakes.
Recently, Port Perry and surrounding area was hit by a large storm.
The downtown of Port Perry is Victorian era.
Many films and movies have been filmed here including an episode of West Wing.
In the summer, the town features the festivals Mississauga First Nation Pow Wow, the Highland Games, the Dragon Boat Races, StreetFest and a theatre festival called Theatre on the Ridge.
