Guzman understands the educational process and the school budget

Veterans In Politics video internet talk-show interviewed Lisa Guzman candidate for Clark County School Board District A. Guzman taught teachers how to teach online years before the epidemic started. Guzman currently is employed as Executive Director for the teachers union a state education system. Guzman stated that her background will give our children and teachers a voice on the School Board.

Guzman has a background in mediation she stated that this is a great tool to guide her with the different personalities on the board. Guzman believes ESA’s (Education Savings Account) starves public schools.

There are 154 different languages spoken in the Clark County School district but Spanish and Tagalog are the two that stand out. Clark County School Board District A starts in Henderson and ends in Laughlin Nevada.

Guzman made reference and stated that the School Board Trustee’s only employee is the Clark County School Superintendent, somebody forgot to inform former Clark County School Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky when he banned former School Board Trustee Kevin Child from school property in 2017.
