Introduction to the TNB Framework

The TNB framework, including the unit tangent, normal and binormal vectors, is introduced and a few relevant space-based applications are discussed. The normal plane and osculating plane are also introduced and discussed. Examples in motion are given to better understand how the tangent, normal and binormal vectors are related. Orbits of the Earth, Solar System and Milky Way are used to illustrate the concepts.
