Those who question science are penalized—even in the field of health care where skepticism is vital. Conversations on vaccines, masking, lockdowns, and mandates have become stigmatized. This is a huge step back from progress in our society. Universities and their professors must, once again, allow open discourse and freedom of speech to flourish in their classrooms.
