Distro Monday 12-1:
New release of Manjaro is out now. If you want a more stable-ish Arch variety that is very easy to install, this is a strong candidate. I don't use it on my personal machines at the moment, but it is still on half the computers in my house. I may try it on my surface again, as it worked well, aside from a few annoyances. Manjaro is Arch- based, but they do their own package testing, and maintain their own repository. Thus packages are not as bleeding edge, but tend to be more stable.

Limitless Monday, a message from Bruce Lee. He's right, you know. Most of our hangups only exist between our ears. We limit ourselves through our beliefs about ourselves, more than anything else. Change your beliefs today and see what happens.

More on Spiral Linux. I talked a bit about it a couple of weeks ago, after its initial release, but today, we'll talk about its strengths a bit more.

Distro Monday 12-3:
So, you guys might remember me talking about redoxOS a while back. Rust sounds like a challenging language to use, but many developers love it because it is very performant due to its built-in memory safety features, which make it more secure and lightweight. I read about Tilde which rewrote their Skylight product in Rust and reduced its resource usage by a factor of 100, from 5 GB to 50 MB. If that is an accurate image of what it can do, then wow! That issue huge, and I can easily see why devs are so enthused with it.
