Here we go again. Riots, looting, burning

Here we go again. Riots, looting, burning, and injuring of police officers in Kenosha Wisconsin after police officers were forced to shoot a black male suspect whose actions to resist arrest were putting the officers and even the man’s own children in danger. Of course, there were immediate calls for equal treatment under the law for all races but most focused on the black community and I think we can all agree on that. However, Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden had to go further saying, “And this morning, the nation wakes up yet again with grief and outrage that, yet another Black American is a victim of excessive force. This calls for an immediate, full and transparent investigation and the officers must be held accountable.” What stands out in Biden’s words, and his running mate Kamala Harris’s follow up, is what I’ve been talking about for a while now, political leaders presuming the guilt of the police officers and that the perpetrator is a victim before an investigation is even started. The perp has an extensive record of domestic violence, threating with firearms and has a warrant out for rape and domestic abuse. This type of response from so-called leaders is incitement to violence and that is exactly what Kenosha’s law-abiding citizens are getting.
