Semi Hydro, Self Watering, Leca, Seramis, Lava Rock... anything inorganic, for that matter, eliminate the wet / dry cycle, and you have many opposing opinions regarding long term success. In this video, I show you how I get around the issues that may arise after growing in this method successfully for the duration of 2 years, and avoid the collapse of the orchids due to the growing method creating potential problems in the pot.
