I have to say that I was incredibly challenged, motivated, and really burdened with this morning's passage of scripture, because I'm asking myself how I can be more open to others, so that they can see Christ Jesus in me. I'm asking myself not just how I can be more open, loving, and compassionate with my fellow believers, but most of all to those who were lost and dying in this world. I've been especially burdened by the reactions of both sides of the aisle in regard to the recent ruling over Roe V. Wade and would like to share some of my thoughts in all of this through this vlog tonight. Please watch this vlog very carefully, and I pray that you will come to realize what it means to be part of the good news that has its source in Jesus Christ, but also be willing and brave enough to show your love for others, through the little and big acts of kindness that you do every day! 😊

As I close this post for tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will challenge you to open your heart to others, regardless of whether they are a fellow believer or not, so that Christ Jesus is truly seen in you.

What could you do through the Holy Spirit’s leading that might give others a chance to open their hearts to you?

How could this point them to the Savior?

How about having an open heart towards the lost and dying in this world to begin with? How about if you see a need that someone has and you're able to meet it, meet at for them! How about giving your time to a pro-life ministry, that is earnestly making every effort to be the hands and feet of Jesus to young teenage, single moms, who needs someone who will listen to them. How about getting involved with the ministry that not only helps women who keep their babies and to raise them, but also helps women who have had abortions, and are experiencing the emotional aftereffects of it? These are just some of the many ways that you can be the hands and feet of Jesus! Jesus stated very clearly that those who welcome others in His name, in particular those believers, who welcome not just fellow believers, but reach out with a simple act of kindness to someone who doesn't know Christ is savior, it's not just a simple act of kindness, but shows that we are welcomed as a friend of the friends of God. In short, they see Christ Jesus in us, are drawn to our compassion and kindness for others, and ultimately will want to know Christ too. My question to you is are you willing to show that friendship?
