2001: Frank Poole vs HAL 9000

It is the year 2001. On board the Discovery One, en route to Jupiter, Doctor Frank Poole is playing a game of chess with the ship's advanced artificial intelligence, HAL 2001. But all is not well. Things are about to go very wrong for the ship's crew.

This game was featured in the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey", directed by Stanley Kubrick. It was actually a real game from Hamburg, 1910:
