Non-Binary Drag Artist Performs at Ankeny Pride LGBTQ+ Event

Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4-9 PM at the Ankeny Market & Pavilion, Ankeny held the first Ankeny Pride celebration for Gay Pride. At 5 PM LGBTQ+ books were read to children by various supporters of the LGBTQ+ community. At 7 PM trans magician Mikayla Oz put on a magic show for the kids. At 8 PM they held an LGBTQ+ talent show for the kids to watch.
