Poland resurrects Iron Curtain

The Prime Minister announced the completion of the construction of a 5-meter fence on the border with Belarus.
The head of the department said that 49 thousand tons of steel were used for the construction. Electronic security systems are currently being installed, including 2.5 thousand surveillance cameras.
Poland does not have an immigration problem with Belarus - rather, it is Germany finding it has a problem with Poland (and now Ukraine).
The wall is symbolic of Poland's attitude towards lands to its east, and serves little-to-no purpose in terms of policy or enforcement.
