Genesis 26

This chapter starts with a famine in the land in Isaac's day. Isaac goes to Abimelech because Elohim told him not to go to Egypt. Elohim wants Isaac to stay in the land with which He blessed Abraham. The reason for the blessing of Abraham is quite fascinating. It's because Abraham "obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My laws."

Many people think that the Torah wasn't around until Moses went up to Mount Sinai. That's not what the Scriptures say! It appears that the Torah was here from the beginning!
