Can't believe we crossed the raging river on this thing! 2018

We were backpacking through Costa Rica in 2018 and for one week of the trip we stayed with a local family who runs adventure tours. One day we were hiking for hours and came across this pully system that the locals use who live on the other side of this raging river to get across. Our guide was very familiar with it because he was from there and assured us that it was safe. It was basically wire wrapped around a tree then strung across the raging river with a piece of wood strapped to it. The other end of the wire was wrapped around a tree on the other side. That's the only way I can describe it, insane we did it!
