Is the Sig P320 safe now for concealed carry?

The Sig P320 is a popular firearm for concealed carry and it's popularity has only increased since the military adopted it as its new standard issue sidearm. Sig Sauer created the voluntary upgrade program to deal with a drop safety issue. Since that issue became known the Sig P320 has faced questions about safety.

As an owner of a Sig P320 I wanted to know if the gun is safe for concealed carry. My particular gun was manufactured after the issue was made public and has the new features already as part of the gun. I sat down and took mine apart to see exactly what was going on inside and I wanted to answer my own question. Is the Sig Sauer P320 safe to carry?
