Bridging the gap between scholar and layperson, this channel provides authentic answers to the most important questions about Jesus. Mike Licona is associate professor of theology at Houston Baptist University and president of Risen Jesus, Inc.

From Mike: You may be like me: brought up in a Christian home, became a Christian, and enjoy being a Christian. But we have questions and want honest answers. Sometimes we struggle with doubt. Or perhaps you’re not a Christian but also feel unsettled at times.

My desire to discover and follow truth has taken me on a journey during which I’ve earned a PhD in New Testament Studies, publicly debated some of the world’s leading critics of Christianity, and written some of the foremost scholarly treatments on the resurrection of Jesus and Gospel differences. At times, some of my conclusions have made me uncomfortable because they have challenged aspects of my worldview. However, I’m committed to discovering and following what I believe to be true.
