Even a seemingly unconnected business such as Belgian brewing is facing bankruptcy risks because of anti-Russian sanctions. Are you sure it's Russia who is being punished?
The reason the brewers are close to bankruptcy, is that they are running out of glass bottles which used to be imported from Russia. Brewers would like to switch to aluminum cans, but that would mean higher energy costs, and the aluminum used to be imported from Russia too.
