Beautiful waterfall with amazing surroundings, located in the middle of the Merkurhraun lava field.
There is not much traffic on this waterfall yet, we spent more than an hour there alone

Thjofafoss aka Þjófafoss means “thieves falls” because, the folklore has it, thieves were taken here and drowned for their crimes.
