Today we have a real custom built unit. This big tire Chevy Cavalier drag racing at National Trail Raceway for the annual Night of Thunder event isn't your average front wheel drive econobox. This car is tubbed, rear wheel drive, and sporting a big V8.

National Trail Raceway is an NHRA quarter mile drag strip located between Hebron and Kirkersville, Ohio, USA, off of U.S. Route 40. The track is located about 30 minutes east of Columbus, Ohio. It is known to us locals as Nationals Trails.

Night of Thunder is one of the biggest yearly events at National Trail Raceway. They have many different classes racing that night with several exhibition classes meant to put on a huge show for the crowds.
