Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics (Switch) - Game #44: Battle Tanks

Game #44 on our list of 51 Worldwide Classics is one of two games inspired by a minigame from Wii Play, Battle Tanks! In this game, two players pilot tanks around a battlefield trying to blow each other up. The tank shells are capable of straight shots, ricochet shots, and lob shots. Use all of these tricks to your advantage to blow the enemy to smithereens! The player who scores more kills in one minute wins!

There are four skill levels of CPU opponents to beat: Normal, Hard, Amazing, and Impossible, which must be unlocked and beaten in order. Beat the Impossible CPU to master the game. Also, there are three different battlefields to play on, and each time you play it, you can unlock a piece of trivia about the game. There are three pieces of trivia about Battle Tanks:

1. Radio-controlled toys, such as cars or tanks, are popular toys that can be controlled from far away.
2. The largest remote-controlled tank in the world weighed around 550 pounds.
3. More advanced radio-controlled systems allowed for finely tuned controls, which took into account how much the stick was being moved.

Personal story: I remember playing with RC cars as a kid but never an RC tank. I was also a big fan of Battlebots, where remote-controlled robots destroy each other.
