Children in the United States up until approximately the 1950s were taught firearm safety not only to be able to handle firearms in the proper manner but to help their families if needed in the homestead to harvest their animals in a humane way. Very few places now days teach children proper firearm safety and accidents are increasing. We wanted to teach our children the safe way to handle firearms.
